Chris Walters
Originally from the UK with over 15 years experience as a professional photographer and a lifetime of experience as an amateur. I have lived and travelled extensively in North America capturing the landscapes, travel, people and places within this incredible continent. Now as planned I have returned to the UK to continue my love of photography closer to home.
I have always been a photographer, as long as I can remember. My old mum loved pictures, she would sit for hours looking through old images and talking about the memories they rekindled. It's no surprise that she made sure I had a camera for school trips in the 1970's, a point and press Kodak 110 that allowed me to begin my love affair with photography which has never wavered between then and now. It wasn't until 2007 that I had the opportunity to quit work and begin my professional photography career. Since then I have lived, travelled and shot extensively in North America. I have moved house 12 times in 15 years from the UK to the US midwest, then down to the southern states then into Alberta Canada, before returning to the UK. The constant change has certainly helped me to discover and capture new horizons and now, 40 years after that little Kodak 110, I am still just as excited by that next new vista and the photographic opportunity it presents. |
